Welcome to my newsletter Unfakeably Influence the World, where you'll find inspiration and actionable advice on building confidence, resilience and connections and growing your brain, relationships, business, career, influence and authority through change and unprecedented times. This week's central topic concerns our intrinsic Quest for an Inspired Life and how the blend of science and Spirituality can help us better navigate our lives and grow into our fullest potential.
As you age, it's common to wonder if you're still on the right path. We all go through periods where we feel lost or confused. Still, now that I'm in my 50s and daily coaching clients from all professions who consult with me to find solutions to their growing personal, relationship, professional, financial and business problems, I've observed a new trend:
A growing number of people are experiencing a need for change or even an aspiration toward something more profound than just going with the flow.
Intrinsically we have this sense that there's more to life than what we've been taught so far—that there might be some more profound truth to help us better navigate change and uncertainty and live more fully and joyfully.
In other words,
We seek spiritual awakening after having spent most of our lives asleep!
Personally, this quest for a better and inspired life started at a very young age when I found myself lifeless, connected to a life support machine, and had my first out-of-body experience. Back then, the idea of out-of-body experience was farfetched, but today, we are lucky, as there is a whole branch of studying the out-of-body phenomena.
To cut the story short, when my parents were told that I would not make it alive, they took me to a Sufi spiritual healer, who, when I was born, said to them that one day I would become a great healer and a teacher who travels the world assisting others in their healing and self-mastery journey.
Six months down the line, I noticed how this man assisted in ways that my health improved drastically. My quest to know the answers to life's greatest mysteries started when I was ill. I was exposed to a masterful healer and teacher who used unconventional spiritual healing modalities to help others heal.
My curious self wanted to know how this man living in the mountains, with no formal education, learned unconventional methods that not only helped me heal but did so with thousands of people who turned to him for help. Yet, a specialist doctor working in one of the leading hospitals, with all the medical equipment at his disposal, told my parents there was no chance I would make it and that I would die within days.
This and a few other childhood experiences led me to study science, maths, biology, chemistry, engineering, quantum physics, and various life disciplines, so I could find answers to millions of questions that occupied my mind.
Against all odds, despite all the adversity I encountered in the last four decades, today, I do what my parent's Sufi spiritual teacher and healer told them about whom I would become. I travel globally, speaking, educating, providing answers to questions and giving practical solutions to life's challenges in one-to-one coaching and healing consultations.
I share what I have learned and mastered so others can grow in talks, workshops, corporate training, VIP mastermind groups, Vital Planning for Purposeful, Prosperous, and Philanthropic Living Advanced Growth and Learning retreat, articles, documentaries and films. As well as through regular contributions to diverse media outlets, high-profile blogs, TV programmes, podcasts, YouTube Videos, social media, Udemy courses and downloads of my TJS Evolutionary Meditation Solutions.
As the beloved author of A Path to Wisdom and #Loneliness , Fit for Purpose Leadership, The Unfakeable Code? AND a Path to Excellence, using my three decades of experience, study, research and delivering over 25,000 coaching and training hours, I crafted one-of-a-kind modernised formulas for greater levels of health, fulfilment, and wealth. They have even been hailed as the new self-improvement tools, now containing the most potent principles for maximising business, leadership, and personal potential. My self-mastery, values, science and spirituality-based methods, principles and strategies assist people in creating the life outcomes they intuitively know they want and deserve. ?
Looking back through a self-reflective lens, I can see that every era has to reinvent what Spirituality is and what it can do te help us navigate our modern world. The reason is that our awareness of who we are keeps growing, and so does the technology that allows us to rediscover what we are capable of.
No matter what problems clients who consult bring in each session, one that is consistent is their inner drive to grow, have more, find meaning and purpose in their lives, and connect with something larger than themselves is hard-wired.
Recently I was in Barbados delivering my five-day Vital Planning for Purposeful, Prosperous, and Philanthropic Living training to my client Dr Pietro Emanuele Garbelli, who, for the last few years, I have helped overcome the challenges, frustrations, and the induced stress from so many personal, relationship and professional challenges. But this time, the focus was to create a successful book launch and a strategic plan to help him get his book to millions of doctors.
His just-released book, The Doctor's Voice, is about empowering doctors and the importance of their voices being heard in a way that drives positive and purposeful transformation across the healthcare organisation. Not only that, but its content also initiates meaningful conversations with other healthcare stakeholders and greater collaboration that fosters high-quality, sustainable healthcare delivery.
His book did not just happen; he invested energy, time and money in making it happen. We were doing another Vital Planning in Mexico three years before, focusing on clarifying his vision and mission. During this one-on-one training, he walked away feeling inspired about the brand and vision I assisted in helping him create - Purposefully Transforming Healthcare?.
And just as the Sufi teacher predicted my path, I, too, predicted that if he remains committed to his personal development, within the next two years, I can help him write a book to help other doctors. That vision came true after the government lifted the travel restrictions imposed in the first lockdown; we flew to Cyprus and spent the next five days of Vital Planning clarifying in detail what the book will be about.
Today, I am so inspired to see him achieve this considerable milestone of being a published author. In parallel to his career working for the NHS, he is becoming a thought leader in how doctors' voices can be used to shape the future of healthcare positively.
So what accelerated our quest for an inspired life?
Pandemic uncertainty
Our world is changing at a rapid rate. We are in an age of great uncertainty, which can be overwhelming for many people. If we want to live lives inspired by what we love doing- and not just by money or other external factors- then we must adapt to change. And this means being able to cope with uncertainty and embrace it!
During the pandemic, I wrote and published not one but two Amazon #1 Bestseller books, The Unfakeable Code? and A Path to Excellence, that have won multiple awards. ?
Let's look at some strategies for coping with life's uncertainties so you can enjoy the journey while staying focused on your goals and dreams.
Please be sure to satisfy your need for change.
Knowing how long it will take you to get through a significant change and what you need to do to be more resilient and adaptable is worth investing in. It's wise to be flexible, creative and innovative in your thinking. If the world has taught me anything so far, our lives are constantly changing--and with those changes come new opportunities for growth and success!
In every consultation, I have assisted my clients in identifying their needs in detail. In doing so, they start opening themselves up to new ideas if they want their lives (and businesses) to thrive during these uncertain times.
What is yours?
Chose to turn a midlife crisis into blessings
If you haven't watched the Living My Illusion – The Truth Hurts documentary on Amazon Prime, this is the time to watch it. In there, you will come to understand that:
·??????A midlife crisis is a time of transition.
·??????Midlife crisis can be a time of self-discovery.
·??????Midlife crisis is a time of change and growth.

·??????Midlife crises are often associated with reflection on our lives and where we are going in them, which can be an exciting and positive experience if handled correctly!
Invest in being coached to manage stress, burnout and relationship breakups better.
Stress is one of the leading causes of burnout and relationship breakdowns. It can also lead to depression, anxiety, and a midlife crisis. Stress is any demand placed on your body or mind that exceeds its capacity to cope. The form that stress shows up in our lives varies from individual to individual; here are some of the most common conditions clients have consulted with me are: anxiety, addictions, depression, fear of uncertainty, fear of change, and fear of loss are typical examples; but so are poor diet, lack of exercise and sleep deprivation - all things that are often overlooked by those suffering from stress-related illnesses such as burnout or depression.
So what does your brain want?
To help you be in flow with life.
When you're in flow, your brain is fully engaged and focused on the present moment. Your senses are heightened, and you feel connected to what you're doing--you might even say that this state of mind feels "inspired." The same can be said for being creative: when we let our ideas flow freely, we open ourselves up to new perspectives on an old problem or challenge (and often come up with solutions we never thought possible).
A survey I did amongst a few thousand clients I have helped in the last decade showed how almost 90% of clients who sought my help acknowledged that they would never have thought they would create the results I assisted them in achieving, nor that one day, they would become entrepreneurs, business owners, inventors, fashion designer, authors and famous personalities, wealthy, fall in love, or have perfect health and a fulfilling career.
When it comes down to it, though, if there's one thing the curious and awakened brain wants more than anything else, it's just this:
To serve you and to show you the power of connection.
Connection with yourself; harmony with others; connection with nature; connection with everything around us; connection with the universe…
Some of you may have read my books, worked with me, or know me from places I've spoken or from what I share online. If so, you will know that what I use in my coaching and consulting approach is a blend of spiritual and science-based methods and principles.
And often, I get asked, is there a science to Spirituality?
I put my answer in a quote so I could share it with you all:
Being exposed to Spirituality and science helped me conquer many fears, win battles, and achieve the seemingly impossible, which I now use to help others do the same. Your life without Spirituality is like the earth without the sun.
Ah, the quest for an inspired life.
In all of my books, in one way or another, I share that this quest for an inspired life has been a driving force in human history since we first realised that there was more than food, shelter and procreation to life.
We've always had questions about our place in the universe and what happens after we die, leading us to seek answers through religion and Spirituality. But in the last few centuries, we started to look at it through science.
There is plenty of science out there about Spirituality; one that many of you may be familiar with is based on research into how our brains work when they're engaged with spiritual experiences (like meditation or prayer) or experiencing something like awe at nature or beauty.
Some teachers I had the pleasure to work with are Dr John Demartini, Joe Vitale, Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins, Caroline Myss, Bruce H. Lipton, Deepak Chopra, Dr Joe Dispenza, etc. Each one of us has looked at how these spiritual experiences change our perceptions of ourselves and others; how they affect our well-being; what role they play in creating meaning in our lives; how they influence health outcomes such as stress levels or depression risk factors like rumination (which is just thinking about negative stuff over and over again).
It is why I felled called to write books, to share knowledge, tools, and actual client transformational stories so you can be all you can become.
Yes!
The brain is an organ that can induce spiritual experiences. It's designed to be spiritual, and it has a spiritual component.
The fact that the human brain contains neural circuits that produce experiences we label as 'spiritual' is one of the most important discoveries in neuroscience in decades. It tells us that our brains are designed to experience Spirituality; they're wired for it--and this helps explain why religious beliefs have been so widespread throughout history.
Conclusion
As you've read, the brain is wired for spiritual experience, and its impact on our lives is profound. Your role is to awaken it, feed it with knowledge daily, and put it to work. This happened during my five-day Vital Planning focused one-on-one coaching and training. My clients often share how they feel like their brain is fried at the end of the day. Then tomorrow comes, and they feel energised, inspired, and ready to take on the most significant challenges that will get them the results they asked me to help them achieve.
The critical question is, how can you live an inspired and meaningful life? To answer this question, could you email my PA at [email protected] to book a consultation? Let's work together, and as your coaching partner, we will look at what science and Spirituality offer you.
As we work on engaging these perceptual capacities — you make full use of how you're built — your brain becomes structurally healthier and better connected, and you access unsurpassed psychological benefits: less anxiety, depression, distractions, and substance abuse; and more positive psychological traits such as creativity, certainty, grit, resilience, optimism, tenacity and fearlessness.
The pandemic has prompted many of you to re-evaluate your lives. And it's also a unique opportunity to address a costly error that began long before the pandemic: rejecting life's spiritual dimension as part of rejecting organised religion.
When you let science and Spirituality be the lens through which you interact with reality, you stand on the shoulders of the giants. My teacher told me this for ten years and what my reality has become. Many of those teachers now hire me to help them with various challenges.
You may be observing breakdowns all around you. But what will your most significant breakthroughs look like? Let's work together and unleash the power of knowing what you don't know.
