Queensland is well prepared for coronavirus.
Queensland is well prepared for coronavirus.
We acted early and declared a state of emergency on January 29.
We have so far limited the spread of the virus and that's because Queenslanders have been taking the advice of medical experts seriously.
If we keep following their advice, coronavirus will be easier to manage.
That means simple things like washing your hands, no kissing, hugging and handshakes.
If you’re sick, stay at home.
If you’re worried you have the virus, contact 13HEALTH or your GP.
We need to do the right thing and look after each other.
We need to help our community, particularly those who are vulnerable.
Remember, there's no need to panic.
It's going to be a long haul, but Queensland is very good at responding to situations like this.
