Jewish Funders Network
Working with Jewish funders to improve the quality of their giving and maximize their impact.
JFN Israel, together with?QUDRA – ARAB PHILANTHROPISTS NETWORK and the?Social Venture Fund for Jewish Arab Equality and Shared Society , organized a celebratory event in Nazareth on November 7, 2022 aimed at building a joint philanthropic networking platform. The joint event brought together ~40 Arab and Jewish philanthropists from Israel and the United States.
The event was co-facilitated in Arabic and in English and aimed to enable the philanthropists to meet each other, learn about each other’s interests and concerns, and identify points of common interest.
"Success for SVF tonight would mean that we find productive ways to collaborate, to share our knowledge and our experiences and to learn from each other."
Walid Afifi, one of the founders of Qudra, said, "there is importance to developing an eco-system and effective long term cooperation when the rationale for the connection with SVF is based on the opportunity to be exposed to this Fund which advances economic integration and improving educational opportunities for Arab citizens, and supporting the foundations of a shared and inclusive society for all."
Bob Gordon, former co-chair of the Social Venture Fund said, "The Social Venture Fund for Jewish Arab Equality and Shared Society (SVF) is a funding collaborative of donors who supports an equal and inclusive shared society in Israel for the benefit of all citizens. Success for SVF tonight would mean that we find productive ways to collaborate, to share our knowledge and our experiences and to learn from each other."
The meeting took place at the Legacy Hotel in Nazareth under the sponsorship of Qudra.
