As an industry, we know 2023 has presented challenges and the summer break will be welcomed by many. But equally, we know more than ever, that the best way to work is to work together. And we are excited by what the new year will bring as we collectively seek to use creativity and innovation to unlock opportunity.

Transforming Auckland: Downtown Precinct design revealed
We are delighted and proud to share early images of a bold, world-class mixed-use precinct in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland – designed by Warren and Mahoney and Sn?hetta in partnership with Precinct Properties and Ngāti Whātua ōrākei. Design competition win for world-first UTS National First Nations College
We know that true partnership with Indigenous peoples gives rise to places and spaces which are unique and powerful expressions of our identity, where the social and environmental outcomes are manifest. Our latest design competition win, to partner with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Greenaway Architects and OCULUS on a ground-breaking proposal to deliver Australia's first National First Nations College, brings Traditional Owner insight to the forefront. It seeks to build culture, community and pride with a bold ambition to support Indigenous participation in higher education and the broader economy. It’s a project to be proud of. Read more.
Global recognition at World Architecture Festival: A celebration of design excellence
Once a year, the world’s architecture community congregate at the World Architecture Festival, where their prestigious?awards programme celebrates design excellence and creativity. We are delighted to share the news that this year W+M was awarded the best ‘Future Healthcare Project Award' for the Alexandria Health Facility in Sydney, designed by Warren and Mahoney in association with MAAP Architects. This project also received a WAFX award which recognises projects that best use design and innovation to tackle major world issues.?This is the second year in a row we have received a category award alongside the WAFX award which is testament to the ambition of our clients and the increasing influence and quality of Pacific design. Reimagining an Australian icon: Bronte Surf Life Saving Club
Bronte Beach in Sydney is famous for a reason. It's?a classic Australian surf beach with crashing waves, golden sand and vibrant culture. The opportunity to help Bronte Surf Life Saving Club, the local community and Council to design a new surf club and community facilities has been a dream project for the studio. Stay tuned for more.

A global exemplar in climate responsive design: Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre
