Quarterly Corporate Philanthropy Report: Q4 2023
Ardor Health Solutions
You Find The Path, We'll Empower You Along Your Journey!
Introduction
Hi there! If this is your first encounter with us, allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Ardor Health Solutions, a family owned and people first healthcare staffing company empowering nursing, therapy & allied health professionals to embark on their travel careers. In our 24th year of business, Ardor Health reaffirms its commitment to service and community engagement. This report aims to provide transparency into our quarterly corporate philanthropy initiatives, emphasizing the significance of contributing to our communities in meaningful ways.
Corporate Overview
At Ardor Health, our organizational core lies in our mission, vision statement, and the embodiment of our 5 core values, guiding our objectives and attitudes across all operational facets. Rooted in the ethos of empowerment and advocacy, we are committed to fostering Strength in Service and Strength in Numbers.
In 2023, our strategic realignment responded to the post-COVID landscape, recognizing the challenges posed by social distancing and lockdown mandates. These restrictions limited our opportunities to meaningfully engage with the community. As the world reopened, it became paramount for Ardor Health to rekindle these relationships and reignite our commitment to philanthropy. Our dedication to empowerment and advocacy takes center stage as we navigate these evolving landscapes, ensuring our impact remains both profound and purposeful.
Philanthropy Mission & Objectives
Ardor Angels, our corporate philanthropy program born in 2011, underwent a transformation in 2023. The mission is to identify demographics in local communities and implement programs that recognize, mitigate disadvantages, or cultivate positivity. We aim to build lasting relationships with organizations in areas where our corporate and clinical teams operate. Our key industry-relevant demographics for outreach sourcing include healthcare professionals, pursuants of a healthcare career & groups experiencing one or more disadvantages in regards to the Social Determinants of Health.

By the closeout of 2023, Ardor will have contributed over $6,500 to the local community, with $340 allocated to each of the Nov. fundraiser families and a pledge of over $5,000 to the Toys for Tots campaign.

Employee Involvement
Q4 saw an increase in employee engagement, reinforcing our mission. Growth was made possible with rising opportunities to interact with recipients of our humanitarian efforts. A dedicated internal committee was formed, inviting members of our team from all departments to have a seat at the table and convene for initiative reviews and outreach development. At the beginning of December, Isabella Colosia received the inaugural Ardor Angel Award for outstanding community service during our Holiday Gala.
Challenges and Lessons Learned
Each program launched during this quarter was an opportunity to learn and evolve for the next one. The quarter presented opportunities for future emphasis on topics such as early event planning; you can never be too early in your architecture of your program. Our initial aim with our Toys for Tots partnership was to host a traditional TFT corporate toy drive, however our planning began late November, when it needed to end mid-October for such a logistical undertaking. Second, your target demographic should always remain top of mind for all considerations. Location, purpose, diet, transportation, finances, physical ability, race, gender, age, language spoken. These are just a few examples of traits of your target audience that need to remain prioritized. Doing so ensures avoidance of tokenism and insensitivity.
Future Plans
Ardor plans to amplify community relationships; specifically within the healthcare industry as we venture into 2024. Deepening alignment of future partnerships and service campaigns with our mission, vision, and core values.
Recognition and Thank You
Ardor extends sincere gratitude to Q4's charitable partners: AdventHealth Kay Meyer Breast Care Center, Moffitt Cancer Center, Hillsborough County Public Schools, The Farmworker Career Development Program, Toys for Tots, and the U.S. Marine Corp.
Conclusion
As we conclude Q4 and 2023, Ardor Health reflects on the impact we've made within our communities. Through strategic philanthropy, we've not only provided financial support but also brought comfort, joy, and recognition to those in need. The lessons learned during this quarter will guide us in refining our approach, ensuring our future endeavors are even more impactful. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our partners, employees, and everyone who contributed to making a difference. As we look ahead, we are energized and committed to continued service, building a brighter future for all!
