Quarter Life Crisis?

Are you in between your mid or late 20's?

Just had a major Life change, Like jumped into a new job, or switched one?

Broke up with someone or got married? Moved to a new city, state or country or lost a loved one?

Then you might be able to simply answer Yes or No against the questions below -

  • Are you waking up late or sleeping late thinking about your purpose on this planet?
  • Do you often feel like a bird stuck in a cage?
  • Are you experiencing your anxiety is at peak?
  • Your appetite is affected, gained or lost weight, worrying about the Why?
  • Do you often question yourself about the work you do?
  • Are you okay with the existing life scenarios?
  • Are you seriously stuck in a cycle of thinking of an escape from this world's matrix?
  • Are you experiencing a depletion in your energy?

Then my dear, you might be dealing with a crisis which appears to either shape or break you! (Choice will always be yours)

When you start questioning "your existence" in your family, society, social circle, professional life or Universe!! Chances are high that you're running after some answers from Life.

Some of the Common Symptoms which occur during a Quarter Life Crisis-

  • Purposelessness: You feel like your life lacks purpose, so you often feel restless and have a desire to change something in your life.
  • Indecision: You struggle to make decisions and worry that you can't trust your intuition. Even if the simplest decisions like a yes or no becomes very tough to call.
  • Professional uncertainty: You're unsure about your career and wonder if you've chosen the wrong path and wasted time on education and training that isn't right for you.
  • Identity crisis: You find yourself questioning your identity, including having doubts about your beliefs, goals, values, and sense of self.
  • Scattered: You feel less focused, your long term hobbies don't excite you, You can't write your goals anymore. Often seems aimless and purposeless.
  • Relationship stress: You are uncertain about your relationships and wonder whether your romantic partnerships and friendships will stand the test of time. You question your relationships and major life events like Engagement or even Marriage! Often.
  • FOMO: You have an intense fear of missing out (FOMO) and often feel like you are not experiencing milestones, achievements, or experiences that your peers are having.
  • Languishing: You might feel as if your life is empty and stagnant, but with a sense of apathy and despair that makes it challenging to find the motivation to change. You feel suffocated!
  • Isolation: You feel disconnected from other people, or you may find yourself withdrawing from loved ones. You no more or less likely to feel the urge of socializing.

And many more based on different psychological articles over internet....

So the question is - Are you feeling the same?
