QUARANTINE

From the hustle of violence

To a deafening silence 

Here we are :

Without the chaos,

And without the crowds.

With aloof malls,

With vacant stalls,

With empty lawns,

With silent dawns,

And quiet yawns!

Skies are clear

And animals are out without any fear.

Humans can't hear

for they are lockdown in smear.

WFH is a new fashion gear,

which is altogether a new sphere.

Instead of the buzzing traffic noises,

All we hear now is shrieking voices 

Of the Covid-19 patients in pain 

and viruses cumulating in gain.

When the quarantine is over,

the world will no longer be slower.

Recovery of the economy will take time

And the past memories shall confine,

In the lap of divine!
