A Quantum Mindset- Part 5
Quantum Mindset Part 5-Light
Within the world of quantum physics there are other things that have not been mentioned here. Everyone has heard of quarks, I’m sure. But there are dozens of others with strange names too like Muon, Pions, Kaons, Neutrinos, and the Higgs Boson… to name a few. But have you ever thought about what holds these things together? Scientists have. And, as you might guess, they know what it is. And so, we now know that force is light. Yep, it’s light that keeps the electrons tied to the nuclei of atoms and keeps atom tied to molecules. Get this…. In the last hundred years scientists have also figured out that all forms of matter are made of a type of “solidified” light. Scientists have been watching the wave-particle duality of light for long time, but in all that time it was never seen to act like matter; until very recently. The folks at Princeton University came up with a method for giving light the properties of matter; liquids and solids. Of course, that held huge excitement for the quantum physics guys. But they aren’t really taking light and turning into a crystal or anything like that. (The research involves locking individual photons together in a lattice they call a "macroscopic quantum self-trapping." When this happens, they become like a solid or fluid object. Apparently, the device they made is small and made of superconducting materials [with about 100 billion atoms] that bind in such a way they act like one big man-made atom. From what I gather, that big “atom” was put next to a superconducting, photon-carrying wire that became “entangled” and started exhibiting the properties of atoms; which is matter. Weird stuff.) So, it is probably not entirely unexpected, but very interesting nonetheless, to find that God created light before He created the stars and planets.
Genesis 1:3 (AMP)
3 And God said, [a]“Let there be light”; and there was light.
However, it wasn’t the visible stuff we see with. If I had to voice an educated guess I would say that the original light was of the type we don’t normally associate with our physical world but, in a strict sense of the word, is light nonetheless. I’m referring to the electromagnetic spectrum which is the chart that shows the spectrum of known light waves. Some of us have also heard of them as radio waves and micro-waves… but gain, they are all light. To give a little perspective, imagine a line that stretches from the southern-most tip of New York to the southern-most tip of California. This line represents the known spectrum of light. Now, going from right to left, the spectrum of visible light [which our eyes are sensitive to] would be located somewhere close to the middle of Ohio. But get this… the entire spectrum of visible light, when placed on that line for NY to CA, would be about the width of a nickel. (It’s not an exact analogy but you get the idea.) Science says our visible light defines our reality. This means that there are millions of unseen realties happening all around that we do not see. Each of these unseen realities are just as real as those observed by visible light.
