Quantum Gravity, Timelessness and Complex Numbers

Is The Wave Equation of the Universe Timeless and Real?

Hi all!

This is my brand-new article on Towards Data Science, where I describe the properties of the Wheeler-DeWitt equation for the quantum wave function of the whole Universe. This powerful equation is part of an effort to join quantum mechanics and general relativity and build a unified theory of quantum gravity. Before explaining this procedure, I provide a detailed explanation of the basic principles of classical mechanics, quantum theory, and Einstein's theory of gravity.
