Quantum Consciousness is Regenerative Wellbeing - Part 1

Often we struggle with healing and wellbeing when we are presenting with signs and symptoms indicated for a specific diagnosed disease state. In natural medicine, these states are understood as imbalances in both our physiological and energetic bodies - the approach to restoring wellbeing is in returning ourselves to an integrated balanced state. This is true regeneration where we address the 'whole' of who we are.

Imbalances can be highly complex depending on the duration, types of medication, pathological path and belief systems. In allopathic medicine, what we predominantly focus upon is our physical body pathology independent of the expanded energetics of our being. This limits the possibilities for true healing and restoring wellbeing.

In a Quantum or Vitalistic model of approaching wellbeing, our focus encompasses an integrated view of all systems that are interdependent and complimentary. Understanding how levels of disease are mapped through the following Vedantic diagram (Goswami, 2011) of the 'five bodies of consciousness', helps us appreciate the true nature of our expanded being and potential.

When we observe this diagram, how much of who we are do you feel is missing from our current awareness? They are part of a nested ecosystem that is both visible and invisible and when we experience only the physical, 4 other levels are either unconscious, disconnected or out of reach. These 5 bodies of consciousness are like our 'inner-technology' so if they are inaccessible, how are we able to raise our awareness of the inner healing power and potential that already exists within us? How can we truly empower and trust ourselves to self-heal and thrive on all levels of mind-body? We all have this innate capability.

Bringing meaning and connection to these levels helps us tap into our healing and creative potential. Here's how Goswami (2011) describes these in his book 'The Quantum Doctor':

The physical is the hardware and where representations are made of the subtler bodies.
The vital carries the blueprints of biological functions that are then represented in the physical as the different organs.
The mental gives meaning to the vital and the physical of which the brain makes representations.
The supramental intellect provides contexts for mental meaning and vital functions and associated feelings and the laws of physical movement.
The bliss body is the unlimited ground of being. In this ground of being with unlimited possibilities, the other four compartments exert progressive limitations.

In a round about way, limitations can exist in all levels in multiple ways yet the truth is that we are already whole. This paradox is rooted in our beliefs and perceptions that originate somewhere in those 5 levels of consciousness. Ultimately, if we don't know they exist and what they mean, we can't explore them and how they relate to our states of being and potential as a whole. Goswami (2011) then explains:

At the physical level, we have have the physical body representations subject to the usual physics and chemistry; at the vital level we have body plans - the morphogenetic fields. An individuals physical body is unique because of its structure. An individuals vital body is also unique.. because of conditioning.
Similarly, the mental environment affects the correlated brain. The brain is connected to the various organs of the physical body through the nervous system and also through the newly discovered psychoneuroimmunological connections.
Since the archetypal supramental level is not directly represented in the physical, there is no disease that can be said to be supramental in origin as such. But our lack of ongoing connection to the supramental and bliss bodies may manifest as ignorance that is the root cause of all suffering. Thus physical disease can be caused at all levels in all five bodies'

Fundamentally, disease in this Integral Medical model may occur simultaneously in more than one of the five bodies described and can spread from one level to others. True healing occurs when we focus on movements in all five bodies rather than targeting one alone. Similarly, healing from the higher levels automatically heals the lower levels over time.

For those interested in the relationship with the soul, Goswami (2011) includes all three vital, mental and supramental bodies in the realm of the soul (subtle energies).

Quantum Principles

Quantum thinking is the connection to all these levels. Quantum principles encompassing local (matter) and non-local (energy) understanding bring about quantum 'possibility'. Without going into the detailed quantum physics, Deepak Chopra (2015) explains how 'mind-body disease' or disharmony is created through mental limitations imposed on the physical and vital bodies. These contexts can be altered through meditation, visualisation, hypnosis and other modalities that can invoke spontaneous healing.

To change mental meanings, we need to access the supramental level and he describes this as a 'quantum leap'. This is the origin of Chopra's reference to Quantum Healing intuited in the non-local realm. Like the placebo effect, Quantum Healing intentions/prayers can be non-locally transferred from 'healer to patient' or through our own intended 'self-healing'. Ultimately, we need to choose to engage in the supramental level contexts and creative mental meanings to heal ourselves. Goswami (2011) believes,

Consciousness has the requisite wisdom (in its supramental compartment), the mechanism (choosing a new context for mental processing of the meaning of emotions) for cure. It also has the power to discover what is needed (the power of insight) and it has the power to manifest the insight by unblocking vital feeling at the appropriate chakra's, unblocking the vital program and thus unblocking the correlated physical organs, which revives proper organ function'.

I see Quantum Healing as Regenerative Healing that can take place consciously and efficiently when we understand the foundational principles of consciousness.

The Quantum University describes 'Consciousness as the mediator of Mind and Matter. Both Mind and Brain are quantum possibilities of consciousness. Consciousness collapses waves of possibility of both brain and mind to experience mental meaning. Mind consists of those possibilities of consciousness that when collapsed, give meaning (the experience of thinking). Matter also has quantum possibilities of consciousness that when collapsed give the physical sensation of seeing, touching, hearing, smelling and tasting.'

Goswami (2011) also emphasises creativity in Quantum Healing as an essential aspect to unblock and re-contextualise meanings. As a Quantum Healer, I receive incredible visual, auditory and sensory information that allows me to direct energies in different levels of consciousness. Through my own experience, this is more than something that you can simply be trained or certified in, it's more a realisation through expanded and open awareness that anything is possible when we cultivate deep trust, and listen beyond what we think we know and believe. I liken it to becoming 'the open channel'.

Why is all this important?

Wellbeing is undergoing a 'ground-swell' and if we can begin to honour consciousness from a place of trust, unknown yet safe awareness of immaterial possibility, a new wave of true regenerative wellbeing may be able to emerge beyond our current dependency on ALL things material.

We all have the capacity to heal. That's my hope.

Love it Gina Yallamas I have never heard the Koshas explained this way. If we all just understood, and integrated into our being the knowing that we are energy beings and worked on our disciplines (such as meditation and breath work) to connect with and clear these energetic layers, we all would be a lot healthier. Through this pandemic- what has been so highlighted to me is the fear that has disconnected many from their inner connection, knowing and power - to be at the mercy of external influences. This fear has unteahtered and unsettled so many from their independent powerful sovereignty. Thanks for your work and clarification ?? looking forward to Part 2!
