1. I believe the best strategy is a hybrid, here's why
2. I treat everyone as an equal until I have an opportunity to get to know them. It's too easy to superficially judge .
3. A connection's past does not define their future
4. You may know the person but do you know their network?
5. You need to get bigger to get bigger & to get better. Until you have a large enough network your messaging, tagging and content marketing is limited. Bigger networks are highly appreciated and receive more opportunities.
6. Credibility is based on the connections you choose to build & surround yourself with.
7. Connections should exemplify professionalism, best practices and respect.
8. Responsiveness and being supportive is key
9. Your connections are only as valuable as the value you bring to them
