The mind can either be the servant or the master.
Imagine having a key to your mind and opening up the part holding all your thoughts. What would flow out the most?
Healthy thoughts OR thoughts that put you right in the funk?
Now imagine choosing your thoughts to replace what flowed out. What thoughts would you replace them with?
I don't know about you, but I'm replacing them with thoughts that make me feel good.
We always have a choice on what we focus on. Not always easy, yet when we can train our minds to work for us and not against us, it's a game changer.

When life hits hard, it's easy to go down a slippery slope of a negative thought pattern.
So much is coming at you instantly, and your mind is looking for any possible threat to keep you alive. So it's doing its job.
And sometimes, it just doesn't know you are not in a harmful situation, so things can quickly get heightened depending on what you have been through, especially a traumatic event.
The mind doesn't know what's real or not.
And this can work for us. It allows us to flip the script and focus on more loving thoughts toward ourselves, which can overflow with how we feel about others.

The promising news is that we can take control of our thoughts and determine how our life turns out. While we may be unable to control some of our thoughts, we can choose not to entertain the negative ones.
It's crucial to recognize that we oversee our thoughts, and our thoughts are not in charge of us. We have thoughts, yet we are not our thoughts!
And we have the remote control to change the channel. We decide what thoughts impact our lives or not.
