One of the hardest things to do as a business owner is ask the right questions.

The quality of your questions determines the quality of your business ... and your life.

Having worked with businesses over the last decade or so, I've asked and been asked a broad range of questions.?

Here are a few examples of questions I asked early in my journey that weren't particularly helpful in terms of moving the needle in my business.

?? Common Questions vs. Game-Changing Questions:

Are you stuck asking:

  • When's the best time to post on LinkedIn?
  • Which website platform is the absolute best?
  • How often should I email my subscribers?
  • Are my videos exactly 3.5 minutes long?
  • What's the verdict on my new logo?

Here are better versions of those same questions that help you make a bigger impact and build a better business:

  • ?? Creating Stellar LinkedIn Content: How do I make content that captivates?
  • ?? User Experience Excellence: Does my website provide an outstanding user experience?
  • ?? Hyper-Relevant Email Magic: Am I sending that speaks directly to my audience?
  • ?? Client-Centric Videos: Am I crafting videos that genuinely serves my audience?
  • ?? Brand Authority Boost: How do I establish and enhance my brand presence?

Great article Ash. Experience is a great teacher. We should never be fearful of asking those questions we would hate to get an answer to. For they are exactly the very questions we should be asking. Those are the questions we need to ask so that we can find the answers we really, really need to know the answers to.. Not just asking woosy confirmation questions that make us feel good. Honest reflection, critical analysis and critical thinking based on those answers, more often than not, leads to, as I say in my workshops, making the right decisions at the right time for the right reasons.
