The quality of the people in your life determine the quality of your life

Quality friends will support you in your goals, and help you make better decisions be that to relax more, be more present, persevere with something you are tackling, chase courageous goals, do the charity work you are passionate about, exit a situation when you need to, stand by you, have fun with you or just celebrate you for who are are. Quality clients will bring you quality projects, and enable you to do great work, and encourage you to deliver the best solutions possible. A quality network of industry connections will enable you to execute that work well, and let it flourish in the industry. Again, a quality personal network such as your tax advisors, attorney, financial advisors, fitness coaches & doctors etc will help you make healthy choices in the long run. We don’t get to choose our families but we can make sure we have quality relationships with them, honour them and derive tremendous value from these precious beings, who are truly irreplaceable.

The quality of your relationships with all of these people not only determines the quality of your day, but when combined with all the good stuff like ambitious dreams, meticulous plans, hard work, good daily habits, tenacity & applying yourself, also your long term success.

There is no universal formula for what makes a quality person. To me it is someone that shares my value system, is grounded & solid in who they are, someone I look up to, and who helps me become a better person. 

Look around you, choose who you invest in relationships with, and spend time with people who matter to you. By spending quality time with them, they will also be spending quality time with you! .

All of this only makes sense and only works if you understand and honour my favorite principle: gratitude. As always, when I look around me at the people in my life, I am and always will be infinitely thankful.
