Is Quality Paint Really Worth The Extra Cost?

Is Quality Paint Really Worth The Extra Cost?

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to paint it. - Steven Wright

I've never been good at painting. The occasional wall in the house wasn't done that well, but worse yet were the model planes or cars I put together in my youth. Oh, the humanity! Still, on a rural farm in the 1970s, in winter, there were few alternatives. TV in our area had four stations, and of course there was no internet. I've heard that the number of models sold today is about a quarter of what it was back then, not surprising.

In any event, back to the subject at hand. Of all the conversations I’ve had discussing the differences between OEM original parts versus might-fit parts, The most memorable was one where I was willing to agree that paint was an area that didn’t merit defending, I then sat and listened why another did defend it. That brings us to where we are here. Utilizing the original manufacturer's (OEM) paint for forklifts is a wise choice. This product is specifically designed for each type of forklift, ensuring durability and improved appearance even under tough conditions. It acts as a superhero shield that protects forklifts from scratches, rust, and daily wear and tear.

The OEM paint perfectly matches the original color of the forklift. It is significant when you are refinishing or painting your forklift. Maintaining a uniform appearance for all forklifts within a company contributes to a cohesive team look, enhancing the overall atmosphere and potentially increasing resale value. Are these paints generic? They may give you a less than desirable patchwork appearance. Another motivation to choose OEM paint is for safety purposes. Bear with me, it is not my intention to play the safety card. It aids in maintaining the warning labels and signs visible and securely attached. Different types of paints could hide these important safety components or deteriorate more quickly, leading to a potential catastrophe. Businesses are ensuring that their forklifts appear stylish, remain secure, and adhere to regulations by utilizing OEM paint.

So, opting for OEM isn’t the most common decision, but OEM forklift paint is the best choice as it is more durable, matches colors perfectly, and emphasizes safety features. It assists forklifts in maintaining peak performance in challenging job settings while appearing highly professional. When it comes to maintaining your forklifts properly, it's an easy decision. More, maintaining equipment mechanically helps with productivity and everyone is in favor of that. Well painted equipment certainly shows everyone you care, and should to a degree at least give those working around them that professionalism is at play.
