1. Do you have a policies & procedures handbook specifically for the quality department?
2. Does every employee have easy access to the quality management handbook?
3. Is the last revision/update made to quality management handbook?
4. Do you have an individual assigned to keeping track of history of quality?
5. Is the average percentage of errors for the past month over 5%?
6. Is the average percentage of errors for the past year over 5%r?
7. Is the quality inspector's performance rated?
8. Does the quality inspector give their opinion on work activities and performance?
9. Is the chain of command in the quality department clearly identified?
10. Is there an open door policy if an inspector has a problem?
11. Does the inspector know who to contact in case of product problems?
12. Is corrective actions implemented immediately for problems?
13. Are all specs for each product clearly identified?
14. Is there an assigned person to review the quality plans?
15. Is each dept. member made aware of the quality objectives and goals?
16. Is the ratio of non-conforming vs. conforming products- More than 10% non-conforming?
17. Is the company ISO certified?
18. Does the company have a tracking system-rating system for vendors?
