The Harvard scandal is welcome! America is truly a great country and a true democracy. The fact that such a topic has been opened gives Europe the opportunity to look into its own garden as well. I am very afraid that we will, as usual, pass cowardly, opportunistically and terribly civilized over this subject.

The cause of much misfortune on our continent is due to this indecent inclination we have towards anything particular and minority. The majority is not always right, but to end up pushing everything that is minority (do you want belonging, ethnicity, behavior, current, religion?) right at the neck of the majority is the wrong way. We act as if our instinct for preservation has dissolved. We seem to be complexed by our own greatness instead of being proud of it.

Beyond this profound aspect, in which it would be logical to be human, full of understanding, but determined to preserve our culture and traditions, to impose them if necessary, the Old Continent seems too bored with its millennial history. I don't know if we like what we do or not, we are not asked anyway, but I see a general casualness in which you seem to throw out the window, without regret, a Chanel dress just so you can dress modern with a sheet. Maybe you like it?! I don't.?

In marketing, this trend toward quality and purity is even more careless. I buy online, I watch a lot of Youtube videos that refer either to product sales or personal development. Like any human. I can't believe I'm the only one scratched on my brain by the fact that the voices behind the presentations are either too picky and unworked (sopranos have a wide range of operas to entertain us with and, let's not forget, any voice represents the level of the soul), or the words come bouldering out of the mouths of the presenters, obviously we are talking about a low IQ.

Then there's the accent. It is well known that if you do not learn a language from childhood you will always have a "foreign accent", sometimes this is even the simple "melody" behind the words of that language. This is natural and anyone who speaks a language with an accent... knows an extra language! Remarkable. But this fact is perfectly accepted in the public space as long as the person has something important to say, is himself a personality, as is the case with university professors, celebrities and not only these.

It is also known that any person who has left his native country, lives in another country and frequently speaks in another language can borrow, willingly or not, the melody of the language he hears or speaks every day. Sometimes he may begin to think bilingually, and not infrequently a dialect is created at the level of family or ethnic community, a kind of new language, comprising words from the two languages. Of course, this does not exist literally, but practice has been shown to be so. Life beats the movie, as usual!

Here I must add the richness of everyone's vocabulary and the environment in which they live, the location where the family comes from, because, often, it is not enough to declare a certain mother tongue, but to be able to define exactly how literally you speak it and how deeply you know it. The selection of who becomes the voices of a message must be drastic.

It cannot be accepted and endured that in a video in which you are told what products to use and what are their benefits, the voice "behind" to read the text as if it has just come from another planet. You can't have good sales!

You can't read on a product page " wallet made of men's leather” because that's how the automatic translation came out and there was no one there to sound the alarm. You can see superficiality and negligence, so why would the products be of good quality???

Last but not least, for spiritual messages, the tragedy is even greater as they are pursued either by evolved people or by those who want it. The tendency towards self-knowledge and self-improvement is slapped and hampered precisely by the imperfection that does not let you fly along with words, which must blend harmoniously, produce the moment of detachment, relaxation, concentration or whatever else is tried to be achieved through that post. The only exception to this simple rule of marketing and bon ton are tutorials, when someone has their own channel, when it is a place where they present themselves and expose their ideas, products, techniques. How he does it is his own choice, the decision to pursue it or not is your choice. Reflect!??????
