Quality Improvements and Cost Efficiency in Woven Bag Production: Expert Insights from Windm?ller & H?lscher

Al Moasron Woven Bags production facility recently received high praise from Mr. Amar Fetoui, Area Sales Manager at Windm?ller & H?lscher, during his visit to the factory. Windm?ller & H?lscher is a leading supplier of machinery and systems for manufacturing flexible packaging. Mr. Fetoui’s visit marked a follow-up to an earlier inspection he conducted about a year ago, and he was impressed by the significant improvements he observed in various aspects of the operation, particularly in waste management, handling, and the quality of the woven bags.

Expert Evaluation from Windm?ller & H?lscher

Reflecting on the factory's progress, Mr. Fetoui remarked, "I visited the Al Moasron Woven Bags facility about a year ago and had several observations about the factory at the time. Honestly, without exaggeration, I was impressed by the remarkable improvements during this visit, particularly in waste management, operational handling, and the overall efficiency of your high-quality production. The quality of your bags is truly impressive, comparable to a diligent student achieving 90%. Now, we aim to see that student reach 100%. There are a few minor adjustments that can help reduce costs, making us more competitive in the market. With better-optimized pricing, our profits will improve, and this is the goal we aim to achieve in the near future."?

Balancing Quality and Cost Efficiency

Mr. Fetoui pointed out that with new technologies now available at Al Moasron—and others soon to be acquired—the company can produce lighter bags while maintaining or even improving quality. This shift aligns with the goal of reducing material usage and cost, a critical factor for maintaining competitiveness.

Maintaining Competitiveness through Technology

"Customers are used to the old technology, where heavier bags were the norm," Mr. Fetoui explained. "But with the new technology you have and the new technology you will purchase, you will have the advantage of producing lighter bags with the same quality, or even better,” expressed Mr. Fetoui.

He also emphasized the importance of balancing quality and cost. He suggested that Al Moasron should consider slightly reducing product prices to meet customer expectations. He said, "Your quality is better than that of other international competitors, no doubt about it. However, your prices may need to come down a little because your quality may be slightly more than what the customer needs. Your quality is high, and I think it should be maintained. However, if the customer isn't too demanding, it might be better to lower price slightly."

Sustainability and Future Outlook

Mr. Fetoui also touched on the broader goals of sustainability and efficiency, urging Al Moasron to explore ways to reduce material use scientifically without affecting the bags' specifications. He encouraged the company to focus on making its products more competitive, not only in terms of price but also through environmentally conscious practices, like making their woven bags 100% recyclable.

Al Moasron is already making strides in this direction, and with expert insights from partners like Windm?ller & H?lscher, the company is well-positioned to lead the industry in producing high-quality, cost-efficient, and sustainable woven bags. As the company continues to innovate, the goal remains clear: to balance quality, cost, and sustainability while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
