Quality Controller - new role

Our growing business is seeking dynamic, multi-tasking capable candidates to fill a Quality Controller fulltime, permanent role in our Poultry facility. The location is in the Waikato 15 minutes north of Huntly, 30mins north of Hamilton or south of Auckland.

Applicants must:

???????Have a relevant qualification and/or 2+ years’ quality control experience – poultry would be the ideal but we can teach you what you need to know about our industry

???????Great at setting priorities to ensure on-time & effective / efficient delivery of results in accordance with regulatory & business requirements

???????Capable & competent in all forms of communication to a high standard

???????Have a high level of USER capability with all Microsoft applications

???????Have a positive "we can do it" determination

???????Experienced in workforce auditing and compliance training

???????Have a good level of physical fitness & ability to move freely about the operational areas

???????Have a current full driver’s licence

???????Be fully entitled to live & work in New Zealand

Duties include:

???????Completing quality checks on the operational areas of the business

???????Conduct audits to ensure policies and procedures are being followed correctly

???????Identify & notify risks, non-compliances, shortfalls, & opportunities for elimination, efficiency, & effectiveness

???????Monitor quality assurance & help with training team members to continuously meet regulatory & business requirements

???????Support new team members with inductions & ongoing compliance training

???????Provide timely & quality administrative support including weekly reporting

To be successful in this role, candidates cannot have contact with pigs or birds, domestic or poultry.

You will be required to complete Ministry of Justice criminal conviction check & a pre-employment medical assessment, which includes a drug & alcohol test.
