Quality Control and Documentation Options

Quality Control and Documentation Options

What is the difference between us and standard mass production manufactures?

In some areas of the manufacturing industry, certain parts only need to function adequately, with tolerances being less critical to performance.

For example, a standard screw from a department store is typically made from inexpensive materials, produced in high volumes, and sold at a low price. If a few screws in the box don't work or fit perfectly, customers usually discard them without concern due to the low cost and expectations.

However, this is not the case in the industries we venture in — medical and aerospace — which demand exceptionally high standards, and rightfully so. It would be unacceptable to hear on the operating table that “Only every other part works, let’s hope yours is good”.

Every single part must be perfect.

We work with tolerances as precise as two micrometers and our dedicated quality control (QC) department take their task very seriously. Several of the following measurements are considered before any part leaves our facility.

When and if the client requires documentation on the manufactured parts, our QC department will measure the parts on our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or Profile Projector (PP) and other metrology equipment. We further offer Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), First Article Inspection (FAI), Process Capability Index (CPK), and Certificate of Conformance (CoC) to your specifications, and material certifications.
