It is a reactive, but equally crucial, part of the quality process, ensuring that any deviations from the design are caught and corrected.

With advancements in technology, such as AI and machine learning, QA processes are evolving from state-of-the-art practices to cutting-edge innovations. These technologies offer new ways to monitor, analyze, and improve quality processes, making QA more efficient, accurate, and predictive.

I would argue that QC is more focussen on CA (corrective actions) and QA is more focussed on PA (preventive actions), would you agree? In the end however it's all Quality management and it should all be tied together in a smooth manner! This is where something like a QMS could come into play or someone in an overseeing role in my humble opinion.

I support Brian’s vision for the critical contribution of QA & QC. I suggest that with the rapid introduction of AI & Machine Learning that the importance of management of change (process/equipment/people/skills) will become a valuable tool also.
