I think the one thing that we can all agree on in any real-estate transaction is that closing on time should be the standard, not the exception. Here at E Mortgage we understand that concept and we do everything humanly possible to meet our closing dates.
Case in point- I had a customer referred to me last month on April 5th with a closing date of April 26th. The customer was shopping me with one of the large banks. The realtor that referred the customer to me was very clear that the big bank would not be able to close in the time frame allotted.
I was very clear with the customer that the only way we would be able to close in the time frame allotted he would have to respond quickly to any requests from my processing and underwriting team.
The good news is trough clear concise communication and everybody working together we closed on time and nobody had to stress and guess what was going on with the file.
