Who is this qualification for?
LASER’s suite of?Independent Living qualifications?is designed to develop and foster the life and learning skills of those wishing to live as independently as possible.?Appropriate for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities, the qualifications are available to learners of any age.
What will learners gain from this qualification?
Each pathway focuses on one named subject and includes the practical knowledge and skills that will support the learner’s ability and confidence to function safely in the community. There is a wide choice of units within each pathway.

LASER’s?Independent Living qualification?suite is available at Entry 1, Entry 2 and Entry 3 and comes in Award and Certificate sizes.
How do I deliver this qualification as a centre?
To offer these qualifications, you must be a Recognised LASER Centre. For further information about gaining recognition or working in partnership with a Recognised Centre please?visit our website. Existing Recognised Centres must complete a New Course Notification Form before starting to deliver the qualification.
