What Qualifications are included in the First Aid Suite?

The LASER?suite of First Aid Qualifications?comprises four regulated Qualifications which have been developed by industry experts, these are:

• First Aid at Work
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• Paediatric First Aid
• Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Why is First Aid training so essential?

First Aid training is an important life skill as well as being a requirement in many workplaces.?Employers must ensure that someone is always available to arrange first aid. Workplaces with certain levels of health and safety risks are likely to need a trained first aider. Schools, nurseries and other childcare settings are required by law to have a paediatric first aid qualified member of staff available.

What are the key benefits of LASER First Aid Qualifications?

• They provide learners with the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of first aid situations.
• Each of the qualifications provide the first aid skills and knowledge for particular specialist first aid situations and can lead to further first aid training and qualifications
• The qualifications meet the requirements of The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and those of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) (Check individual qualifications for details)
• Each qualification offers an opportunity for learners to develop skills and confidence in dealing with a range of emergency situations and medical conditions.

Who are LASER First Aid Qualifications Suitable for?

They are suitable for anyone with an interest in providing first aid support at work and in other settings.

How long are LASER First Aid Qualifications valid for?

The qualifications are valid for 3 years from achievement. An annual refresher is recommended to keep skills up-to-date.

What level is this qualification?

LASER’s?First Aid Qualifications?are all Level 3 Awards.

How do I deliver this qualification as a centre?
