This weekend, we hosted a private test screening of Qualia at the Chabot Space & Science Center's Planetarium in Oakland. This immersive metafilm experience is a groundbreaking production that represents the culmination of my life's work in sound alchemy, wisdom traditions, and transformative arts.
The Genesis of Qualia
For over 30 years, I have traveled the world studying sacred sound traditions, collecting ancient instruments, and exploring the transformative power of frequencies. Qualia emerged from this journey, combining my background as a sound alchemist, multi-instrumentalist, and technician of the sacred with cutting-edge technological innovations. The result is more than a film - it's a portal to transformation.
Crafting a Multidimensional Experience
In creating Qualia, I drew from my extensive experience with ceremonial instruments from across the globe. Each sound in our score is carefully chosen and crafted, combining traditional acoustic instruments with modern production techniques. The result is a soundscape that bridges ancient wisdom with contemporary expression.
Our visual journey, projected in stunning 360o across the planetarium dome, weaves together footage from my travels to sacred sites, natural wonders, and elements created through cutting-edge technology. This fusion creates a visual language that speaks directly to the soul.
A Living Experience
What makes Qualia unique is its ability to meet each person exactly where they are. As someone who has facilitated countless transformative experiences, I understand that true transformation cannot be prescribed.
