Quadrans Node Version 1.9 Now Available

Mainnet Mandatory Update

We are thrilled to announce the release of the new go-quadrans node version 1.9. This significant update is packed with numerous new features and enhancements, all designed to enable greater network scalability on the Quadrans Mainnet Blockchain.

Important Notice

Please note that this update is mandatory. A hard fork of the Mainnet is scheduled after 7th May (from block 32469978), which is necessary for many of the new features coming later this year. We strongly recommend all users to update their nodes to the new version as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions.

What’s New in Version 1.9?

• New Discovery Protocol: We’ve implemented a new discovery protocol to improve network connectivity and efficiency.
• Web3.js Console Updated: The Web3.js console has been updated for better interaction with the Quadrans Blockchain.
• New RPC API: Our new RPC API comes with DNS rebind protection, the ability to provide answers during sync, a debug tool, and more.
• Increased EVM Compatibility and Performance: With the latest Ethereum EIP implementation, we’ve enhanced EVM compatibility and performance.
• Improved Performance: Experience faster sync and less memory consumption with our performance improvements.
• Fixes and Security Improvements: We’ve made several fixes and security improvements to enhance the stability and security of the Quadrans network.

How to Update?

You can update on Linux directly from the gqdc-installer script or download the updated go-quadrans 1.9 binaries for your operating system directly from our repository: https://repo.quadrans.io
