QS MAPLE 2018 Request for Proposal DEADLINE JANUARY 31

QS Asia has partnered with the University of Bahrain and Ahlia University in the organisation of the upcoming QS MAPLE 2018, a Middle East and Africa’s Annual Strategic Summit for the Advancement of University Excellence in All its Forms. The higher education conference will be held from 4-6 March 2018 in the beautiful Kingdom of Bahrain. Edu Alliance is participating at this year’s conference as a Supporting Partner. If you are interested in submitting a proposal please submit by January 31, 2018

We urge senior and rising higher education leaders and academics who are interested in the advancement of higher education in the Middle East and Africa in an international context to submit your proposals for the following available tracks -- Track 4: Quality Assurance and Accreditation & Track 5: Global Recognition.

Your proposals for the two remaining tracks are equally critical for higher education leaders and academics worldwide to gain better knowledge and insights towards the advancement of university excellence, particularly for those in the Middle East and Africa region. This is because recent findings of the ninth Arab Youth Survey have demonstrated the urgent need for education systems in the Middle East to improve and identify the cause of the rising youth unemployment rate. Public schools in the region have been observed to not equip young Arabs with skills required to meet the challenges of future job market. Similarly, at present, South African universities are not producing enough graduates. Universities are retaining more students than they are producing graduates.

Therefore, to help universities in the Middle East and Africa region provide quality education to our future generations and gain global recognition, your research findings and results in relation to the topic discussions are fundamental. Hence, once again, we highly encourage your proposal submissions and to be part of the pool of prominent speakers who will be presenting at the upcoming event. Deadline for all proposal submissions are due on January 31, 2018.
