But brands from other industries can still?participate through collaborations. Beer company Budweiser, for example,?partnered?with floral delivery company UrbanStems in a campaign called "This Bud's for You."??

WHAT'S BUZZIN' THIS MONTH
QR CODES SURGE IN SUPER BOWL 2023 ??
During last year's Super Bowl commercials, Coinbase saw?over 20 million visits?to its webpage in one minute with their bouncing QR code. While the buzz around Coinbase and crypto has fizzed out, the use of QR codes has not.
This year, there was a total of?10 different commercials?using QR codes (not counting second runs), which is 18% of all of the commercials aired during this Super Bowl!?
Our take??There's no doubt that QR codes are an effective engagement tool with TV ads. While we are very excited about QR codes making waves in this year’s Super Bowl, we believe there's?much more brands can do?with QR codes without having to spend millions on an ad spot. SHOPIFY ANNOUNCES ITS ONE-PAGE CHECKOUT EXPERIENCE????
During its twice-annually Shopify Editions announcement, Shopify revealed?several key upgrades?to its platform, notably implementing a "one-page" checkout.?
This update consolidates Shopify's current multi-page checkout experience into one page, aiming to reduce cart abandonment. Survey results from?Shopify's 2023 Commerce Report?revealed 35% of Shopify Plus merchants experienced shrinking cart sizes in 2022.?
These upgrades will roll out gradually over the coming weeks.
Our take??This is an exciting update. Cart abandonment is a universal problem across brands of all sizes, and merchants need to reduce friction at checkout as much as possible. We expect one-page checkout to be a must-have this year.?
