NDA NEWS FLASH!! Update on future qualifications (QCF to RQF) Hi,
We just wanted to inform you on the following changes NDA First Aid Training and the First Aid Industry are making in the next up and coming months
Notification of planned launch of RQF qualifications
On 1 October 2017 the following qualifications will be operational:
- TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
- TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
replacing the current versions: :
- TQUK Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF)
- TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF)
NDA intend to withdraw the QCF qualifications on 30 September 2017. To coincide with the launch of the new qualifications updated Power points, First Aid Manuals and Assessment Records will be introduced
The new RQF qualifications contain updated units which have been developed in collaboration with the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum.
These specifications will be made available as soon as possible. The changes include clarification of some terms and alignment with the latest Health and Safety Executive guidelines. Please note the change of level from 2 to 3 for TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work which better reflects the complexity of the knowledge and understanding required.
The replacement qualifications will be available immediately following the end operational date for the current versions therefore we do not anticipate any disruption to our customers and learners.
Further details will be circulated as and when we receive them from our Awarding Organisation TQUK.
