Q. Could you please give us a quick summary of your cloud computing session at the event??
A. My session will be revolving around the topic of cloud computing and the security challenges that they pose on the business. I will be discussing best practices for securing cloud environments, as well as strategies for managing risks that will arise. Lastly, I will close with some food for thought, giving the audience some insights into ways of measuring and optimizing the effectiveness of a cloud security program.
Q. Why do you think that the topic of Cloud Security is relevant today, specifically?
A. I believe Cloud Security is relevant today because more and more businesses are moving their data and applications to the cloud, or they were originated in the cloud. As a result, there is a growing need to protect this information.?
Q. Without revealing all your secrets, what are the two top takeaways attendees will gain by the end of your session?
A. My top 2 takeaways:
Q. Why do you think Security Leaders need to focus on talent management in the current environment specifically?
A. I think the most important reason is because cybersecurity is a complex and ever-changing field. Leaders must be able to cultivate a team of talent individuals who are hungry to stat up to date on the latest threat a technology.?
Q. What are three things that you are focusing on currently to support your current team and also attract new talent?
Q. What do you hope your audience will take away from the panel session?
A. The biggest thing I want audiences to remember from the panel session is that by investing in their employees, leaders can build a strong team of talented individuals which will result in creating a more secure and compliant organization.

Q. Who do you think will benefit from joining your session?
A. Anyone who joins a session of mine will benefit from it. I come with a perspective and opinion that is of my own, it is true to me. Therefore, listeners will not be receiving any fluff or jargon that is surface level.
Q. Where does your passion for your role come from, and what’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone following your footsteps?
A. I have never been satisfied with “no knowing” or “not trying”. I think my passion for cybersecurity comes from that, I like to try new things and experiment in a way that is helpful to others and that align with my morals.
One piece of advice: Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching.
Q. What was it about the CISO Chicago Summit that stood out to you as an environment in which you would like to share your knowledge and expertise?
A. The CISO Chicago Summit stood out to me as an environment in which I felt comfortable sharing my knowledge and expertise. Getting the chance to engage in peer-to-peer networking, whilst discussing challenges currently affecting senior executives from a variety of key industries is beneficial to growth.?
