QA is the last defense line but first for attack

Have you ever have been blamed of release delay due to testing activities? On the other hand are you blamed for bugs on production environment? Not only tests contribute to software development but also other players like developers, architects, product owners. We can claim that is common effort and engagement. Base on my 18 years’ experience I must say that we have still unbalance for responsibility sharing. Psychological comfort of testers is much less than other team members because of misunderstanding software development life cycle. Testing is a part of process and cannot be considered as a single and unconnected element to development and designing phase. QA does not have power to paint over mistakes made earlier. The real true of QA is exposing existing problems not creating new ones. Do you feel similar like me that QA's people have the worst situation from other team members? Harsh reality.
