Meet HPSA Board Member @Stephen MacDonald. He is the VP Operations and Clinical, @Medisystems (A Loblaw Company) and Vice-Chair of the HPSA Board of Directors.

?How long have you been an HPSA board member?

?What made you decide to become a board member for HPSA?

HPSA intersects two interests that I have. First, in my role as VP Pharmacy Operations, I am keenly interested in sharing best practices in our industry. Second, I have a personal passion for the outdoors, and I am committed to caring for our environment so that others may enjoy the same activities in the future.

?Which part(s) of HPSA's mission and vision do you align with most?

As a health care provider, I feel obligated to ensure we are creating a safer environment for all. Healthy living starts with living in a healthy place.

?What excites you about being a part of a purpose-driven organization?

I have had the good fortune of being part of successful business organizations, and it is rewarding to share the skills I have learned to contribute as a volunteer in a non-profit organization.

?What is your hope for the future of HPSA?

It would be great to see a truly national organization that spanned coast to coast to coast and included all provinces and territories.
