Ask Me Anything—Q&A with Grant Cardone

Ask Me Anything—Q&A with Grant Cardone

I recently did a live Q&A session over social media offering short answers to a variety of questions. Here are some of the quick takeaways for your benefit:

What are your thoughts on silver and gold?

They don’t produce income.

What are your thoughts on running a business with a spouse or sibling?

There has to be ONE general, one person needs to be the boss.

Quality or quantity?

I believe quantity, quality is not as important as quantity. In nature water beats the rock, it’s constant, it always keeps going. If you do something just once it won’t be enough.

Organizing a wedding…should I use the money to pay for the wedding or as down payment on the house?

Neither, you shouldn’t buy a house and you guys overspend on weddings. Elena and I didn’t spend a lot of money on the wedding, we positioned ourselves to be successful later.

Number one rule in business?

There is no business with no income. You must be able to scale the business. There must be some money left over. Most business owners are overworked and underpaid. Income is king.

What’s one thing I need to do for you to hire me?

You have to show me you have people you will bring in from the beginning, if you bring revenue that’s what all businesses look for.

What do you think about cryptocurrencies?

I think you should avoid them for now, but I am not a gambler. I make big investments in things that are for sure. Unless you guys are rich, leave it alone or you could get burned.

Do you think we should still use email lists?

Absolutely, when I want to move my revenue I go to my email list.

You have respect for network marketing?

When you want to make money, you have to know people. Every dollar on this planet is connected to a human being.

Do you recommend starting a business using a loan?

No I don’t. I recommend you start a business with someone else’s money, not a loan or investor. I started my business like that. I went to Houston and knocked on people’s doors and I sold them a service so now these people are investors in my business and they own 0% of it.

What were the hardest sales and why?

It’s all the people I still haven’t sold.

What do you think about the future for realtors?

It’s hard and most of them don’t make any money, but there is opportunity if you go 10X!

Do you and Elena prefer joint or separate accounts?

We have separate accounts.

How do you look for ideas for products and services?

I look for problems to solve, and usually they are my problems.

Speaking of which, one of my biggest problems back in the day was getting started in real estate.

So, for those of you are interested, I'm doing my first ever LIVE Real Estate Training where I will show you everything you need to get started in real estate.

This is NOT a free event.
