QA Engineer

Role:

As a QA Engineer, you should be able to perform test planning, create test designs, and assist project managers and Product Owners with test estimates. A QA Engineer should also be able to present and discuss test related matters with customers and partners.

Job Responsibilities:

???????Manually execute System, Functional, and Regression Test Cases against builds;

???????Log and regress all defects found during testing into the appropriate defect tracking software;?

???????Provide clear and detailed written reports of bugs and reproduction steps to the development team;?

???????Execute functionality test plans and checklists as assigned;?

???????Perform test planning and test design for each delivery, making sure maximum coverage is reached;

???????Investigate and confirm/reject UAT or production defects.

Expertise required:

???????3+ years experience in software testing;

???????Knowledge of test methodologies and test procedures;?

???????Basic experience with testing integrations;?

???????SQL knowledge;

???????Experience with XML-based languages is good to have;

???????Work background in retail / financial software systems is welcomed;

???????Certification in testing (like ISTQB Foundation Level) ;

???????Basic knowledge of Linux commands or previous interaction with Linux terminals;

???????Self-motivated and enthusiast person;?

???????Ability to work both in large project teams and individually and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders;?

???????Ability to work in a multicultural environment;??

???????Able to proactively analyze, identify, and communicate problems effectively;?

???????Good spoken and written English.
