Facebook Chatbots secret: Simplicity of Q&A unifies the app market
As Anthony Robbin said in his book “Unleash the power within”, questions and answers are two of the most interesting factors in the human interaction. Every day, literally, every day! People live in the Q&A all the time and this is the evolutionary biology that is inevitable started millions of years ago. If you could remember the time that people could not write down anything, all the communications are delivered through Q&A.

User interface revolution
What we are doing in the past few decades during the mobile applications booming is that we change the communication between human beings into mobile devices. We started from Website to do everything, and then mobile application. You probably could resonate with me the moment that your family is having dinner but nobody is talking with each other even if your 60-year-old grandma is playing with her phone. But, ultimately human beings are emotional creatures that love communications directly. You will not trust on person on Tinder merely because of his or her profile picture, instead we probably need to talk with him first than decide whether to set up a date. What you need in the future is not tons and tons of application but one intelligent and sweet personal assistant that could deal with everything for you.

AI is growing extremely fast but…
So the first question is how many companies have already touched upon the Artificial Intelligence world? Let me give you a list who already have a mature platform or is developing one.
- Apple – Siri (text and voice)
- Amazon – Amazon Echo (voice only)
- Google – Google Now (text and voice)
- Facebook – Messenger (text only)
- Microsoft – Tay (Twitter account and text)
- Tencent - WeChat (text only)
And more and more….
Okay so everybody knows that artificial intelligence is a big thing in the future, but the problem is who is going to win the game. So far most of the platforms are useless because they are solving the problems that you could figure out yourself very easily. You do not need to ask Siri for time, instead, looking at your watch and you will know it immediately. You do not need to let Amazon Echo play music in your room, instead, open you phone and you could play whatever music immediately. Time is always the most important asset you could have in human life. People are willing to pay more 3X surge priced Uber due to they want a driver immediately! Now, the problem is: If the “intelligent personal assistant” you have does not smarter than you, why bother spending time using that?

Facebook Chatbots will change the game of time
Let us get rid of the fancy technology and code software developers are crazy about! As we always said, a successful product based on business, user experience and engineers. Users need time the most, so we should not ever waste their time by adding more and more functionality on the products. Facebooks knows that and that’s why they develop Chatbots and their main goal in the coming 10 years. Listen to me, Chatbots will change the game! Check out the picture above and really think what Facebook are dealing with right now. Yes, they are saving time for us. Messenger already opened its API for developers and all big companies which means that in the future you do not need Uber for car, you do not need Spotify for music, you do not need Venmo for transaction, and you do not need Flipboard for news. What you need is really intelligent personal assistant that could help you do everything. The only unreplaceable behavior people have is communication between human beings so please use messenger with Facebook! Probably in the next ten years, your phone could function with only a messenger app because it saves tons of time for you.
