Role Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of our applications. You will collaborate with development and product teams to identify test scenarios, develop automation scripts, and execute test plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design effective test strategies.

Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

Analyze test results, log defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

Continuously improve the testing process and automation frameworks.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in QA automation.

Document test cases, test plans, and results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

4+ years of experience in QA automation testing.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
