Q4 Reading List
Michael McMillan
Sales and Customer Experience Consultant, Coach, TEDx Speaker, and Author
The key to my career success has and will always be my curiosity. My curiosity is what drives me to educate myself on a wide variety of subjects and topics. It is the reason I can stay humble and honestly say anything I have built can always be better. Most importantly, it is the single greatest attribute I look for in every employee I hirer, as I know it will be what makes them successful as well.
To ensure my curiosity always is well fed, I read books and educate myself continuously. Up till this point, I have read 1-2 books at a time and would end each year with around 50 new books completed. For years I have done this and never thought anything of it as it is what helps push me to be better. It was not until I shared the fact I read about 1-2 books per week with a few people that I realized this is not a normal thing for most people.
Rather than try and persuade you about the importance of reading and education, I have decided to instead share my new gained knowledge with all of you here on Linkedin. Plus, since reading is always more fun with others, I am going to share my reading list for Q4 so all of you can follow along.

At the end of each week, I will write a summary of the book I read, and any specific points I plan to implement and how. I would love to have all of you read these along with me and then share your thoughts on them as well. If you can read along with me this quarter you will read more books this quarter than most do in one year. Imagine just how much stronger you will be than your competitors by doing this.
