Happy Autumn! We hope that you had a great summer packed with rest, relaxation and of course, sports - we sure did!

We also announced that the series we co-produced, 'We Were There,' a new 8-part documentary uncovering the remarkable personal stories behind the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022?, is being released.

#Trending: IBC 2024

The IBC 2024 in Amsterdam was an exciting conference for the many HBS team members who attended. A few spoke on panels, including our Director of Digital Johannes Franken, who contributed to discussions on immersive technologies as well as the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the sports broadcast industry.

We can't wait to be back next year for more insightful conversations!

What We Are Working On

It was a busy summer of sports, and we were busy too - HBS team members were delivering events all over the globe.

We're proud to have worked on the broadcast coverage of the? CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024 and to have had the opportunity to support Infront and the IPC on the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Broadcast Academy Updates

Armelle CANET , Head of Legacy & Broadcast Academy, participated in "Media Tech's Got Talent" event at the inaugural IBC2024 Talent Program. She discussed attracting, retaining and training the new generation of Sports Broadcast professionals.

The Broadcast Academy is holding a Live Sports Directing course this December in the UK , so be sure to apply before spots fill up!

What’s Going on at the HBS Offices

We recently held an end-of-summer BBQ celebration for our Europe-based team members, where we enjoyed apero, dinner, games and dancing.

During the busy week of this team event, our Paris offices also organised forest fresk , to raise awareness about the preservation and restoration of forests around the globe.

The Miami office also celebrated this season with a dinner party and hosted an eco-friendly terrarium workshop to train their green thumbs.
