Will Q4 be as bleak as predicted?

As we enjoy the summer months and get out and about with in-person meetings, I am mindful of what is to come. The cold bleak winter could be ahead. We are beginning to see all companies take steps to weather a storm that is coming.

The markets as we know them, especially for digital, are going to slow and level off.

Many businesses have been relying on endless digital growth to offset changes in their more traditional business model but as this slows and levels, what is next?

Next is Web3

The Web3 world and blockchain are talked about but not understood.

This reminds me of 2010 when I started the Chelsea apps factory at the birth of a thing called an iPad! People told me apps won’t work and that the web & desktop were the future.

We all know what happened next!

Now is the time to work out what Web3 is all about. It’s important.

At the moment people are gathered around two schools of thought :

There are those who say: ‘I don’t understand it.’ I don’t invest in things I don’t understand.’

Or ‘hasn’t all that crashed and gone, it’s a fad, and it’s past.’

And there are others who say ‘I get blockchain and it makes sense so would like to know more, but forget NFT’s and Cryptocurrency.’

But just like the early apps from 2010, Web3 is not a fad and will be the future.

Now is the time to get expert advice. This is a good business opportunity and an exciting space to explore.

We have been doing our homework and have been working with the talent who know this space well.?We have also advised and invested in this area in order to learn, so we can come to the table ‘with real money where the mouth is experience.’

This autumn we hope to activate this knowledge by helping businesses to understand this space and joining dots with talent and collaborations.
