Q4 2023 Update

Welcome to 2024 and the inaugural quarterly Network Ventures Community Update! I’ll keep these short, but I want to highlight some of the great work going on at our portfolio companies. We’ve been busy too: last quarter was jam-packed with activity, from hosting our annual Limited Partner meeting and our founder-Limited Partner happy hour, to speaking at the Iowa Angel Investor Summit, to making a new investment out of our Rolling Fund. Who knows what 2024 has in store for us, but I can’t wait to see what new companies we’ll find and how the portfolio companies progress.

Network Ventures invested in its 31st portfolio company in November. The investment hasn’t been made public yet, but I look forward to sharing more soon.

Portfolio Updates

• EarlyBird (2020 investment) raised $4.5m and was covered in Techcrunch.
• XStereotype (2016) was named as an AI Innovator of the Year by AdWeek.
• Honeycomb Credit (2022) announced that it has helped small businesses raise over $21m since its launch, fueled by the success of its recent Small Business Saturday initiative.
• Hunt Club (2018) hired Kan Ta to lead its expanded Tech Recruiting Search Practice and released its 2024 Talent Outlook Report.
• Parentaly (2022) launched The False Tradeoff, a podcast for working parents, HR leaders and anyone committed to proving working parents can be successful at work and at home.
