Q3 Leadership - Visionary

Q3 Leadership - Visionary

We waved goodbye to Q2 with a thorough review of the year to date and welcomed Q3. What made this particularly special was that the meeting was held in the boardroom of our new office, warehouse and operations centre at 18 Optima Park.

A quick round the table one word comment on the move summed the feelings up as:

  • Proud
  • Excited
  • Fantastic
  • Wonderful

As one of Team JGF's crews reversed into the loading bay to pick up tooling, cables and everything needed and pre-sorted for their job, the Leadership Team gathered upstairs with a full day's agenda.

To remind you of our VOS and Visionary Management Structure, see the article "Business Management - Traction & Vision " - HERE .

It was great to see Michaela back for the day to take us through the financial status. And, what a status. Q1 and Q2 have been so good to us with new Senior Electricians and new Apprentices joining the team in time for one of our Electrical Supervisors to enter the last phases of training for promotion to Project Manager.

Michelle Riley, our Health & Safety Practitioner has been stalwart in pioneering active advances in H&S training across the team. Not just the universal allocation and inspection of full PPE, but reminders where necessary of how / when to use it. See our article on Working at Height - "H&S - The Safety Harness " - HERE .

Systemised Toolbox Talks, Site inspections, Risk Assessment training have been firmly on her agenda, leading to ZERO incidents through knowledge, understanding and operational awareness. Well done Michelle.

General operations are running well thanks to Leila's operational direction. Yes, we have the odd glitch, who doesn't, but generally we have the right people at the right place with the right equipment and materials to conduct their work with the efficiency and excellence for which we are so well known.

No hanging around for misplaced RAMS or mis-ordered cabling. We just get there and get the job done.

The new and spacious warehouse facility gives us the chance to stock over one thousand key components. This not only improves efficiency, drives purchase power up and costs to clients down, but it supports rapid reaction to keep lights on, or blackouts safe as and when we get the call.

Again thanks to Leila, we are beginning to roll out our Client Portal, a live interface with SIMPRO's task management system. Clients can see real-time job status, from quote, PO, pre-Job photos and drawings, post-job images, and full certification from RAMS to QS and certs.

Mi casa es su casa as our systems become yours.

Nick, thank you, you are a man on a mission. It's hard to believe you only joined the Leadership Team 9 months ago and have been a Project Manager only 6. What you cover on site and your interaction with clients is amazing. By teaming up with host site engineers, you spot and solve problems before they even become so. Everything to prevent client down time is on you mate and we thank you for it.

So, into Q3 guys. Follow that vision.
