ROTOTEST NATURAL STEERING
Natural steering is a groundbreaking enhancement to the Rototest VILS dynamometers, enabling the simulation of real-world steering dynamics for a more realistic and comprehensive testing environment. This advanced feature replicates natural steering responses, allowing vehicles to behave as they would on the road, even in controlled testing scenarios. By incorporating natural steering, the fidelity of vehicle simulations is significantly enhanced, leading to more precise, reliable test results. Rototest VILS dynamometers are designed to seamlessly bridge the gap between simulation and real-world testing, providing manufacturers with an invaluable tool for validating vehicle performance before road tests. Whether testing steering response, handling, or overall system integration, this innovation elevates the accuracy and depth of analysis possible in a controlled setting. Check out a brand new short, entertaining video we have just created. A comprehensive datasheet is also available for those interested in exploring the full technical specifications.
ROTOTEST 6WD/6-AXLE HUB-MOUNTED VILS DYNAMOMETERS
Designed for 6-axle vehicles and trucks, the heavy-duty version of the industry-leading ROTOTEST Energy 6WD powertrain dynamometer system is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of truck testing. This version is designed to handle the larger scale and increased power of commercial vehicles. Key features of this system include: 1) Power capacity to handle high-performance vehicles under full load, 2) Symmetrical configuration ensuring equal capacity on both axles, and 3) High torque capacity for dynamic load simulations. It supports up to 90,000 Nm of torque in a 33/33/33 split configuration. Contact us at [email protected] to learn more or request access to the datasheet.
XENOMATIX ENSURES LANE WIDTH COMPLIANCE IN CONSTRUCTION ZONES
Confirming lane width is essential for safety in construction zones with narrowed lanes. Maintaining the minimum lane width is critical for ensuring safety. A recent project required verification that the 3-meter lane width was consistently adhered to across all lanes, ramps, and exits. Using Xenomatix’s 6D road scanning technology, accurate road models were produced, allowing precise measurements of lane widths to be taken every centimeter. Both average and minimum widths were reported for each section. The road work was largely compliant, with minor deviations caused by tape deformation or traffic. These areas were corrected with paint, ensuring lane widths met safety standards throughout the site. This is just one of the many use cases supported by Xenomatix.
