Q3 2023: Driving EBITDA Growth and Operational Excellence at DPO&Co!

As new deal activity accelerated, our Strategy Consulting team was highly engaged in 14 projects in Q3, conducting market and customer due diligence studies across a spectrum of industries ranging from lab automation to pallet manufacturing to cosmetology schools. We actively are supporting multiple buyside search projects and also completed several post-close strategy and operational improvement studies that drove significant EBITDA for our clients.

Rebound in new platform diligence, BPO expansion in Indonesia and Colombia, Foxhole Group onboards new Management members

Foxhole Group , our independent sponsor business, onboarded Ben Dennis, a new VP to focus on deal sourcing, evaluation and VCP execution in partnership with portfolio management teams. We also onboarded several key management team members across the portfolio.

In our commitment to expanding our global presence and providing enhanced client support, we continued to grow our BPO teams in Asia and Colombia and onboarded 11 new BPO clients in Q3.

• Engaged 40+ potential M&A targets for pharma automation services integrator

• Managed existing deals in the funnel and actively searched for new deals for US investment holding company?
• Supported a pest control holding company with 6 subsidiaries in CC reconciliation, GL report transaction alignment, and reconciliation across 19 banks
• Conducted rapid analysis of a tubing and fitting distributor’s inventory data, identifying top items with the highest DSI and Average Inventory Value ($)?
• Assisted a water softener company in optimizing AR collections through scheduled payment and follow-ups, while also managing cloud-based warranty registrations
• Conducted recurring monthly analyses to determine excess inventory >3 months to be charged as material deposit to customers for an electronic manufacturer
• Processed 100+ daily customer orders and supported Account Executives with order inquiries for a varsity jacket and bag manufacturer?
• Supported the CEO of a medical distribution company with financial reporting, HR assistance, and other “chief-of staff-esque” tasks?

1. CCK Automations: undertook continuous shop floor improvement projects, conducted margin analysis for a key client, provided visibility into E&O inventory, built a 13-week cash flow model, executed a customer deposits program, and maintained weekly KPI dashboard on PowerBI?
2. Surplus City: conducted a feasibility study and launched a new online sales channel, analyzed freight carriers' cost, conducted inventory turn analysis, designed an interactive Power BI dashboard
3. Sanitary Solutions: maintained support on financial reporting, facilitated preparation for migration to NetSuite through database cleanup
