Q2 Results: What's the story?...

Last week, Workday announced results for Q2 fiscal 2025, so in case you missed it, here are the highlights:

• Total revenues were $2.085 billion, a 16.7% increase from Q2 FY2024.
• Subscription revenues were $1.903 billion, a 17.2% increase Q2 FY2024.
• Operating income was $111 million, or 5.3% of revenues, compared to an operating income of $36 million (2.0% of revenues) in Q2 FY2024.
• Total subscription revenue backlog increased 20.9% compared to Q2 FY2024.

Some other highlights of Q2 were:

• Workday joined the Fortune 500 list for the first time.
• There are now 70 million+ users under contract, and 2,000+ Workday Financial Management customers.
• Workday announced strategic partnerships with Equifax, Salesforce and Kainos.
• HiredScore AI for Recruiting and HiredScore AI for Talent Mobility are now available through Workday.
