IPG USA OPEN HOUSE
On June 18, Ann Arbor hosted the IPG USA Open House event, a gathering that highlights innovations and developments in the automotive and technology sectors. TOYO's presence was notable for several key highlights, including the unveiling of their latest advancements in VIL technology with the introduction of the Rototest Energy I62 4WD low inertia hub-mounted VIL dynamometer.
The event featured presentations on various topics, such as ADAS validation, modeling vehicle dynamics, powertrain testing (presented by Ford), and future testing developments.
A standout moment for us was Ford's presentation titled “Road to Lab: Vehicle In the Loop Testing for Vehicle Development.” The automotive company highlighted TOYO’s Rototest system, explaining how VIL testing can bridge the gap between simulation and road testing, save development time, and offer a more efficient approach to testing. This sparked several conversations with other attendees about how Rototest could benefit them.
We extend our gratitude to IPG for hosting this incredible event for the automotive community. And we cannot wait to participate in future events with IPG.
ROTOTEST DYNAMOMETER'S NATURAL STEERING
The Rototest natural steering feature revolutionizes vehicle testing by providing a steering experience that closely mimics real-world driving conditions. Unlike traditional dynamometers, which often impose unnatural steering constraints or lack the capability, Rototest's advanced technology allows for natural, unrestricted steering movements. This innovation ensures that the vehicle's steering response and behavior are accurately reflected during testing, offering a more precise assessment of the vehicle's performance. By simulating actual driving dynamics, the Rototest natural steering feature helps engineers and developers gain deeper insights into the vehicle's handling characteristics, leading to better-informed design and engineering decisions. Please review the datasheet which include detailed information about the natural steering feature.
THE AUTOMOTIVE TEST EXPO (EUROPE) 2024
The Automotive Test Expo (Europe) 2024, held against the backdrop of rapid technological advancements and evolving industry standards, emerges as the essential venue for automotive professionals. From state-of-the-art testing equipment to revolutionary methodologies, the expo offers insight into the future of automotive engineering. With exhibitors from around the globe unveiling their latest breakthroughs, attendees are immersed in a dynamic environment where knowledge exchange and networking opportunities abound. Rototest has participated in this event for many years, and this time was no different. Well, there is a difference—for those of you who may not be aware, TOYO acquired Rototest in November 2024, and Rototest exhibited as a TOYO Corp. Group company. Check out the live demo delivered at the event.
