Going Overboard!
Team members from the different businesses within the John Good Group | Growing Businesses Together came together to put their teamwork to the test in a unique environment, learning the ropes on our? OFFICIAL CatZero Humber ?12-hour sail day on the River Humber!
We learnt about the basic principles of sailing, including hoisting the sails and navigating the tricky waters and winds of the Humber. We even dangled? Sarah Walton , Senior Business Development Manager?off the side of the yacht in a man-overboard scenario! It was her birthday after all...??
For the 2nd half of the day, we took over the CatZero 72-foot Challenge Round the World Racing Yacht to collect as many points on the river Humber as possible. Analysing the tides, and winds, and utilising the strengths of the team to deliver the biggest total of points possible.
It was a fantastic incredible experience, and certainly one we will not forget in a hurry!
