There has been a lot of talk out there about a possible foreclosure crisis looming on the horizon. When mortgage forbearance became an option for homeowners after the COVID-19 pandemic started, analysts predicted that 30% of homeowners would take it, leaving the nation vulnerable to a wave of foreclosures when the forbearance period was up. The truth is that only 10% of homeowners took forbearance, and 25% of them have already caught up.
