"Q is for Quality of Life"

Dear friends and colleagues,

As we move further into the spring season, it's hard not to be reminded of the beauty of the great outdoors. From the fresh air to the open space, there's no denying that nature plays a significant role in our quality of life. This is especially true for those of us who are passionate about land and its many benefits.

At eXp LandMan, we believe that quality of life is essential when it comes to land buying and selling. Our network of land professionals understands the value of outdoor living, clean water, food security, and sustainable farming. We believe that a healthy environment is crucial to both our physical and mental health.

Remote work opportunities are creating new living and economic opportunities to relocate to remote regions, to be distanced from urban crime and from health problems associated with congested living (in our post pandemic world).

Regenerative grazing yields Farm to Table Food Security

One of the most significant benefits of owning land is the opportunity to live a sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle. The ability to grow your food, raise your livestock, and manage your land in an eco-friendly way is a privilege that cannot be understated. It not only provides a sense of fulfillment, but it also contributes to the health of our planet.

At eXp LandMan, we are passionate about promoting sustainable farming and regenerative livestock grazing. Our experts can help you identify ways to improve your land's ecology while maximizing your profits. We also believe in the importance of youth AG education, such as FFA and 4H programs, to promote leadership skills and create a better future for agriculture and for our nation's youth.

But it's not just about work and agriculture. Owning land can provide endless opportunities for family life, recreation, and outdoor activities. Whether it's hiking, fishing, hunting, or camping, there's something for everyone. Land ownership can create lasting memories and a stronger sense of community.

When I think back to my youth, the most vibrant and joyful memories include the outdoors. Etched in my mind forever, is a love for many outdoor things, like the night my late Uncle (a medical doctor), slept with my twin brother and my cousins, under the stars, away from city lights, and we watched a meteor shower, as we all told and listened to stories. A few years later, we collectively worked side with our older cousins, building a perimeter fence for livestock grazing. The memory of the heat of that day (which seemed unbearable, at the time), and then breaking for lunch and learning the art of a power nap (15 minutes, max) as we lay in the shade of a ancient Pepper Tree, growing along a cool, cool mountain stream.

Even when new to land ownership, the peace that can be found for you and those you care about, is waiting. Physical safety, food security, work-exercise, and nature can be a foundation for a different and perhaps more joyous way of living.
