The day before I recorded this video, I found out that the North Carolina Insurance Commission is considering a proposal to increase homeowners insurance rates by 25%. That’s a pretty sizable jump. Thankfully, North Carolina homeowners aren’t powerless; today I’m sharing a simple way you can make your voice heard. On December 10, a public meeting on this issue will be held, but attending it isn’t your only option. To learn more about what to do if you’re opposed to this rate hike, watch this short video.
