Q. Do Brain Surgeons write sales pages?

Answer.. = Nohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

...because they are part of a SYSTEM that gets the right people to them at the right time/place.?

So.. why are we still trying to turn typically Service Professional/biz owners into marketers?

Largely with very little success! As 80%+ of them report as NOT being from Sales/Marketing backgrounds BTW.?

Clue: these people don't want to be turned into [ineffective] marketers/sellers, mainly because it's not their [desired, at least] role within their biz.?

Isn't time to change the biz model for these people??

Brain Surgeons aren't likely to be great at sales stuff either .. but still we persist ..flogging a VERY dead horse.?

Verified stats rarely lie ... and we DO have an 80%+ bizfail rate inside 5 yrs ... Over 10 - it's a WHOPPING 96% [check it out]

'Copy the Guru' works only about 5% of the time, hence the testimonials they show. But never the stats on attainment levels across 100 or so people who followed Guru X's latest 'Just Do As I Do' false premise. Mainly because the 'newbie' simply cannot emulate the 20 yrs or so !Sales! Experience the guru has.?

Seriously, in our 1st?generation of Coaches [way back in 1990-3], we aimed for a minimum of 50% of those we trained achieving a minimum of National Average Wage/Pro Rata .. from month 7 onwards, to allow for an initial training & bedding in phase.??

We actually achieved over 70% [Not bad ... as we wanted 80% if we could]

Over 30 years later, we can't find ANY data or evidence that even 20% of coaches [as just 1 eg] are achieving the basic 50% goal we set all those years ago.?

Is it the Guru's just pumping out stuff they know doesn't work .. 95% of the time??

Or is it classic Buyer Beware - where the buyers need to wake up & find that new biz model??

Simple fact is ... Coaches/Speakers/Therapists/Consultants et al are just like Brain Surgeons.?

None of them want to [learn to] sell/market etc.?

Brain surgeons have a model that works to suit their skills.?

Whilst 'Knowledge Pro's [shall we call them] still follow the Guru, resulting in 80%+ bizfail rates.?

WOW.?

Who's gonna learn & then take action FIRST.?

Such a waste, oh & an even bigger opportunity.?

P.S The bridge picture before the article is the world famous 'IronBridge' based near Telford in UK, where I live. I use it here to symbolise that a S.Y.S.T.E.M was needed to build the bridge as the world moved into The Industrial Revolution. AND a system is needed in the Collaborative Revolution too.. Otherwise brain surgeons WOULD be standing outside hospitals with placards saying .. 'Need a Brain Operation - ask me 1st' [Ha]

When building the sales team in Ealing. Everyone told me I was doing it wrong and you could not produce producers. (If you were lucky you recruited them). History proved them wrong. With a system. For 3 years half the companies Million dollar round table qualifiers) came from one office in Ealing. 1. is now worth between 15 and 20 million £. 2 10 to 12 Million. and the rest that survived the discipline's live very comfortably. I will readily admit I am not worth anywhere near those amounts but making money was never my greatest motivation (Much to my wife's regret).
